Transfemina- Intersectional Landscapes

Transfemina- Intersectional Landscapes. This is a two-year project co-funded by the Creative Europe program that proposes the creation of spaces for reflection, debate, and collective action on the invisibility of feminist narratives in cultural heritage (tangible and intangible) and inequalities in public spaces in three cities in southern Europe: Porto, Barcelona, and Modena, through a process of transnational co-production of site-specific artistic interventions. “What physical and symbolic space do women occupy in cities?” is the central question of the project. 

The project included a meeting in Barcelona in June 2024, where Col·lectiu Punt 6 was able to share feminist urban planning methodologies to be replicated and adapted in local laboratories in the three participating cities. Local laboratories were set up in each city to analyze the space occupied by women and dissidents in public spaces and to highlight transfeminist narratives. In Barcelona, local laboratories were held to collect narratives from different neighborhoods through a common theme, which was everyday mobility.

The project also includes the publication of a soundwalk with these feminist narratives, which are shared orally.

A fanzine summarizing the project , as well as academic articles that highlight transformative projects in the three cities.
