The objective of the assignment was to analyse the actions of the General Urban Planning Plan of the municipality, which was in the drafting phase, to identify possible negative impacts of these actions from a gender perspective and propose modifications to neutralize this impact.
The methodology used was a combination of documentary analysis, observations in the territory, participatory workshops with women residents in different centres and with technical personnel from different areas of the City Council, three exploratory tours through different centres of the municipality and two workshops to validate the diagnosis with neighbouring women and with technical personnel.
The main contribution of the work is the proposal for work in the territory based on the identification and consolidation of daily centralities in the different centres.
