Plano resumen de la diagnosis participada

The project involved advising, coordinating, and supporting the drafting and implementation of the necessary urban planning and architectural projects to complete the works of the Pla de Barris (neighborhood plan) in Sant Joan de Mediona, incorporating a gender perspective to mainstream Field 6 of the Catalan Ley de Barrios (Neighborhoods Law).

The commission includes the redevelopment of streets, improvement of the town center surroundings, adaptation of a square, and the rehabilitation of a unique building. The proposal, presented and expanded by Col·lectiu Punt 6, integrates sustainability criteria (with advisory input from specialists) and accessibility criteria (in consultation with ECOM). A community diagnosis was carried out to define the purpose and scope of the projects yet to be drafted or validated, and propositional criteria were developed to address the needs identified through the gender and sustainability analysis. These were incorporated into the urban and architectural projects, for example: strengthening and equipping networks of everyday activities; promoting active, sustainable, accessible, and safe mobility; connecting with and caring for the characteristics of the natural environment; valuing the memory and representativeness of unique and community spaces, etc.

The consultancy also included the selection of design teams that could ensure the incorporation of gender and sustainability criteria: Equal Saree, Bestraten Hormias Arquitectura SLP, and Arquitectura Entre Vinyes.
