Client: Project developed by Col·lectiu Punt 6 with an activity grant from Barcelona City Council

This study contributes to the production of knowledge about cycling mobility that exists in our and other territories. Studies carried out in other territories have already concluded that women have different patterns of cycling mobility.
In 2019, 2020 and 2021, Col·lectiu Punt 6 carried out the study on the cycling mobility of women and non-binary people in Barcelona with the aim of collecting quantitative and qualitative data, making cycling mobility issues visible from a feminist perspective.
The methodology includes an online survey aimed at women and non-binary people who travel around the city and the metropolitan area of Barcelona, whether they cycle or not. And it is complemented by workshops and participatory tours with cyclists to collect and analyze from an intersectional feminist perspective the diverse experiences of cycling in the city.
